Strategy Notes

A promising rally early in the month was derailed by escalating trade tensions. While the current situation is worrisome and the markets are rightly nervous, we think that the aggressive posturing by Trump is a prelude to more amicable trade negotiations later. Indeed, the endgame outcome of all this could  be lower tariffs globally and if that is the case, then the global economy would get a substantial boost.

We will maintain our long term bullish outlook for now while awaiting further developments.
